Red Potatoes and white potatoes - new potatoes means you don't have to
peel them, the skins rub off.  These are not storing potatoes.

What’s Happening on the Farm
The cooling temperatures have allowed a lot of weeding to get
done!  The garden is looking fairly good despite the large amounts of
rain, cool temperatures and cows walking through it a few times.  Yes,
we have been chasing cows.  The grass is greener on the other side of
the fence, especially when there is yummy kale and carrot tops mixed
in.  Luckily, they didn't do much damage.  This is the first week for beans, green, yellow and purple are
all flowering and you will have a mixture soon.  The zucchini and squash
are also flowering - the plants have tripled in size in the last few
weeks!  The tomatoes, eggplant and peppers have all set fruits and now
waiting begins for them to ripen!  The peas have finished and have been
tilled under.  Time to plant lettuce, spinach and fall peas (at least
try to get these planted and hope they grow).  I always believe the soil
is too hot for the seeds to germinate.  I never have very good luck
planting seeds in the summer.  Maybe this is the year.
